Impact and lessons learned through the GALS methodology in the LFSP-APN Project in Zimbabwe

This is a study report from 2017 on GALS in the Agricultural Productivity and Nutrition component of the Livelihoods and Food Security Programme (LFSP-APN) in Zimbabwe. Cathy Farnworth reviews the impact and lessons, and sheds light on some key questions many practitioners grapple with: is it possible to change gender relations during a project period? Can we reach large numbers of people in a cost effective way? Is the impact likely to be sustainable?
