Promoting the leadership of women in producers’ organizations

Lessons from the experience of FAO and IFAD support projects on how to promote rural women’s leadership in producer organisations (PO’s). It identifies aspects of women’s leadership; describes best practices from FAO and IFAD supported projects; and identifies key messages and recommendations for guiding the design and implementation of interventions in support of women’s leadership.
