Group Description

The Kagbu Empowerment Learning Centre (ELC) is located in Ngubi Community, 36 kilometres away from the State Capital Lafia, Nigeria.

The ELC is registered with Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Authority as a Learning Center, and it offers GALS and FALS trainings and learning visits to community members as well as organisations and projects. Previous clients include, the IFAD-funded VCDP project in Nigeria, the MEDA Nigeria Way Project Bauchi and the Oxfam LINE Project Bauchi.

The ELC became functional in 2019 and it is composed by 50 Champions (28 female and 22 male). It is managed by the elected Executive officers out of the first certified sixteen (16) Champions. The administrative structure includes the positions of the Chairperson, the Secretary, office of the treasurer and Public Relation Officer (PRO).
