I am a gender mainstreaming and transformative specialist involved respectively in the areas of facilitating community mobilization and capacity building and development of project staffs and beneficiaries  for the empowerment of rural women and men. My main focus is gender and social inclusion in value chain development. I am a GALS, FALS and Group Development expert, starting with my work in IFAD and other development organizations in Africa, I have been working since 2012 in integrating GALS and of recent, FALS, in different organizations. I worked with IFAD RUFIN project for 7 years as a Group Development and Gender officer specifically in charge of the GALS methodology in 12 states of Nigeria, where we supported households to build up their income and financial status. I have consulted widely across different development organizations (such as IFAD, MEDA, OXFAM, YMCA and other NGOs) nationally and internationally in disseminating the GALS methodology across various projects and communities. I currently have an organization, Ruthaigbe Divine Company dedicated to propagating the gospel of GALS into various communities across different cultural and religious divides.
