IFAD published a series of examples of Household Methodologies (HHM) that had been identified by 2014, together with a “How To Do” Note and a teaser. This document is the case study about GALS, based on experience in IFAD supported projects in Sierra Leone, Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda and Rwanda. On 27th January 2022, the Empower@Scale project organised an online session to share the results of two internal trajectories that led to the creation of certification criteria and processes for Empowerment Learning Centres (ELCs) and for champions.
