“Rocky Road to Diamond Dreams” by Linda Mayoux and Oxfam Novib is a manual for starting the Gender Action Learning System (GALS) in a new location, organisation or project. It provides the main ingredients to start catalysing change and action at individual, household and group levels towards gender justice and improved livelihoods. The manual is intended for experienced GALS facilitators, or facilitators who are guided by experienced GALS facilitators.

On 27th January 2022, the Empower@Scale project organised an online session to share the results of two internal trajectories that led to the creation of certification criteria and processes for Empowerment Learning Centres (ELCs) and for champions.
