NANTS just concluded the training of GALS facilitators from the ELCs and freelance in the country. This training took place at the Ta’al Conference Hotel, Lafia Nasarawa State Nigeria. The workshop had in attendance IFAD staff from the three projects in Nigeria (VCDP, CASP and LIFE-ND), NGOs and people from the government. This is a field-based training of GALS facilitators from the ELCs, partners and freelance in the country for more understanding of GALS/HMM, roles and responsibilities. Training sessions was done by GALS Consultants and thereafter field visits to the ELCs (Ruwawayo and Kagbu ELCs).

On 27th January 2022, the Empower@Scale project organised an online session to share the results of two internal trajectories that led to the creation of certification criteria and processes for Empowerment Learning Centres (ELCs) and for champions.
Après le succès de l'atelier d’introduction au GALS pour les programmes soutenus par le FIDA dans les pays Anglophones et l’intérêt exprimé par les pays francophones, nous avons décidé d’organiser un atelier similaire en français.
